IS&O Study Abroad Scholarship Information

2011-2012 IS&O Study Abroad Scholarship Information
Note: To be considered for the following scholarships, you must complete the Study Abroad Scholarship Application available in the Study Abroad Office or online at http://studyabroad.okstate.edu
Application Schedule
Applications for the IS&O Study Abroad Scholarships are accepted two times per year. Applications for winter inter-session, spring semester and spring break programs may be submitted between August 29, 2011 and October 14, 2011. Applications for summer, fall semester and full year programs may be submitted between October 31, 2011 and January 27, 2012. All applications are due by 5:00 PM on the last date of the cycle. No late or incomplete applications will be accepted.

Humphreys’ Study Abroad Scholarship

Description
The Donald and Cathey Humphreys Study Abroad Endowed Scholarship was established to offer students with demonstrated need the opportunity to fund long-term study abroad experiences. The scholarship is open to OSU undergraduate and graduate students participating in credit bearing programs and activities outside the U.S.

Eligibility 
Priority is given to undergraduate or graduate students with demonstrated financial need Applicants must provide proof of an application to a credit-bearing activity abroad Study period must be a minimum of eight (8) weeks

Award Amounts
Award amounts will vary depending on student need and program choice

Provost’s Study Abroad Scholarship

Description
The Oklahoma State University Provost’s Study Abroad Scholarship was established to offer an incentive for OSU students to study abroad. The scholarship provides one-time funding for degree-seeking OSU students participating in credit bearing programs and activities outside the U.S.
Eligibility 
Priority is given to undergraduate or graduate students with demonstrated financial need Applicants must provide proof of an application to a credit-bearing activity abroad Applicants must be citizens or permanent residents of the US

Award Amounts
Award amounts will vary depending on student need within the following ranges: Winter Intersession 2011, Spring Break 2012, Summer 2012 $ 500 - $750 Spring Semester 2012, Fall Semester 2012 $ 750 - $1000 Full Year 2012-2013 $1000 - $2000
